Cristiane Machado, born in Niteroi, RJ, Brazil. Cristiane moved to the USA to further her life experiences and continue her passion of helping individuals who are seeking to become the best versions of themselves, as she, herself, is, constantly seeking the same. Cristiane is a wellness professional who sees an individual as a whole unit. Through her experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2004, not only has she gained insight and knowledge to overcome many of her own “body issues” and has obtained tools to help people to understand their physical bodies. Her experiences a massage therapist led her on to adding fitness to her repertoire. Cristiane is a ZUMBA® Fitness instructor of all its specialties and has worked as a ZUMBA® Jammer, presenting workshops and Master Classes internationally where she has found a way to communicate through the body, even when spoken words were not understood. During the 7 years when she worked “exclusively” with this format, Cristiane had the incredible opportunity to work closely with Beto Perez (creator of the ZUMBA® program) launching ZUMBA® Fitness in Brazil. She has also presented at the annual European Conference in London. Additionally, Cristiane is a YOGA instructor and organizes and hosts retreats where she combines ZUMBA®, YOGA and Massage Therapy. Those retreats have been transformational to the people who have had the opportunity to attend. Cristiane lives in Florida where she enjoys dancing, eating, breathing, stand up paddling yoga, and walks with her beloved dog and cat. She is also a mother of an young and inspiring adult son. Cristiane is AFAA, ACE and NASM certified.

From a very early age, dancing and performing have always been her passion. From the age of 9 years old, she studied tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet, modern, and musical theater. From her teen years through her adult life, she has been both a dance instructor and choreographer for many dance schools and theater groups. She was also a dancer for the NY Dragons Arena Football League for two seasons and the recipient of the Frank Hatchett Scholarship at Broadway Dance Center in NYC in 1999. She began her fitness journey instructing Zumba® Fitness classes, licensed in all aspects of Zumba® Fitness. In 2013, she became a Zumba® Jammer (Specialty Choreographer) specializing in the Salsa Rhythm. She is also licensed to teach Piloxing™ as well as R.E.D Warrior®. She holds a certification with AFAA and is pending with ACE. She is very excited for the next step in her fitness journey as a Guide (Master Trainer) for R.E.D Warrior® Nation. She feels blessed to be part of such an empowering team and cannot wait to see what is in store for her on her new journey.


Melissa Carias moved from her hometown Honduras to United States and got her Masters Degree in Business Administration in 2003. She then discovered her passion for fitness and became an instructor in 2007. She is a certified AFAA Group Fitness Instructor and ACE Group Fitness Instructor. She was selected by Zumba® Fitness to be one of the first generation Zumba® Jammers and is licensed to teach all Zumba® Speciality formats. While her love and passion of dance makes her a great jammer, her love and passion of fitness and empowerment and her dedication and extensive knowledge makes her a great teacher for R.E.D. Warrior®. She is always bringing out the best in others and genuinely wants them to succeed— a great role model to those around her and that is the foundation of the R.E.D. Warrior® program. She has also appeared on National TV shows such as NBC’s The Today show and ABC’s The View. She performed at the 2013 Zumba® Convention with Jani Roberts Zumba® Toning crew and at the R.E.D. Warrior® Experience Master Class.

Kiki Tyler, born in Pennsylvania and raised in central New Jersey, enjoys music, dance, and physical activities of all varieties. She studied piano & flute for many years, played basketball, volleyball, and was voted captain of her cross country team during her high school career. In her spare time, she coached elementary school soccer. Kiki relocated to Virginia for college where she studied English at George Mason University. During her time in college, Kiki took kickboxing classes, and she fell in love with martial arts. After graduating college and starting her career in retail management, Kiki obtained her license to teach Zumba® Fitness in 2005. In 2010, Kiki was selected as one of the first Zumba® Jammers. She quickly earned a reputation for offering easy to follow and fun choreography, as well as high marks for connecting with her Zumba® instructor community (ZIN ™). In 2012, Kiki was asked to lead over 250 participants in Zumba® in the Circuit at the local DC Curves® convention. Kiki started her own fitness company Sana Vida Fitness, LLC in June, 2012 in order to offer fun and affordable fitness options to her local community. Kiki holds a Group Exercise certification through AFAA (2012) and is a Certified Personal Trainer (2010) and Corrective Exercise Specialist (2014) through NASM. She lives outside of DC in Silver Spring, MD and teaches in Northern Virginia, Maryland and DC. In 2014, Kiki discovered both WERQ® and R.E.D. Warrior®. She fell in love with R.E.D. Warrior® from the minute she heard the warm-up song, and she knew that she had found a home in this new community. Kiki felt empowered, and wanted to be the catalyst to bring that same sense of empowerment to her community. She is honored and excited to be a Guide (Master Trainer) for R.E.D Warrior®, and is eager to share her passion for empowering others with you!
